Ropes Challenge Course & Zipline

Unique Experiences

Yamnuska Mountain Adventures

Join in the fun with this exhilarating ropes course tour 30 ft. off the ground! With a series of obstacles and challenges from poles and trees, participants can complete the ropes course in a variety of combinations. The ropes course is a great family or group activity that allows you to complete it on your own or work together as teams. You complete the activity with a 70 meter zip line to the ground.

What you can expect

Meet at the Nakoda Lodge Ropes Course.

After a gear review, safety briefing and course system instruction you hit the ropes course!

There are a variety of course entry points and once you choose your starting point you begin the ropes and challenge course. Over the course of two hours, you chart your own route through the ropes course based on how challenged you want to be. If you like one particular section, do it again and again!

Sections such as Stepping Stones, The Zombie Bridge, The X, The Multi Vine, The Swinging Log, and the very challenging ‘Footsey’ are no doubt bound to challenge and excite you.

At the end of the course, take a ride back to the ground on the short but fun Zip Line.

Cancellation / Refund

  • There are two basic types of insurance that most travellers need to consider: Medical and Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance. Yamnuska offer guests coverage for both and highly recommend you purchase it
  • 48-hour cancellation notice required for all full and half day rock climbing programs, after the trip has been confirmed
  • Mountain weather is unpredictable in all seasons and is a constant factor that shapes the decisions made before and during the programs. It would not be practical to refund or credit situations where guests do not get the weather conditions they hope for but every effort is made to develop alternative plans. If you have a single objective in mind (such as a peak or route) it is not guaranteed that the conditions or weather will allow an attempt of that objective. Guides will work diligently to give you the best experience with the given conditions at the time of your tour
