Evening Wildlife Tour

All Terrain Vehicles

Toby Creek Adventures Ltd.

Summer evenings are a great time to spot wildlife in the beautiful old-growth forests and sub-alpine areas of Paradise Bowl on Panorama Mountain. The pristine mountain environment on the edge of the Canadian Rocky Mountains is prime habitat for many birds and animals including deer, moose, and bears. During summer months there is also an abundance of colourful wildflowers along the trail. The evening light is perfect for photography and there will be plenty of opportunities.

What you can expect

This family friendly ATV tour is perfect for all experience levels with a full comprehensive safety briefing and ATV riding instruction provided. It's important to feel comfortable on your ATV, so practice time is provided at the base area before embarking on your journey.

Your guide will lead you up the trail through old-growth forest and open slopes for a spectacular view of Panorama Mountain Resort and the surrounding peaks of the Toby Creek Valley. You will visit the remains of an early 1900’s mining town and walk along the banks of a rushing alpine creek. Enjoy a hot drink and cookie at a cozy alpine cabin while taking in the views of rocky peaks and Paradise Bowl.

Binoculars and a spotting scope will be provided to give you a closer look at the surrounding wildlife.

During the descent, you will park your ATV and follow your guide along a short pathway to view the cascading snow-fed mountain stream of the Smith Falls.
